Really, when is this hydrogen Bull&#it going stop? I’m an ICE fan I admit it, but I can see ICE vehicles are starting to look old and getting more expensive. EV’s are getting cheaper to buy and cheaper to own. Let’s just allow natural selection to happen and deal with it.

Not sure why Japanese are so stubborn, they are beating a dead horse here with their hydrogen strategy. They are making things harder then it needs to be. Aside from some time savings in refuelling, there are literally no other benefits to Hydrogen power trains compared to simple battery and motors. Electricity can be easily generated by so many ways, its accessible anywhere from home, to office to shopping centres. Try to find a hydrogen stations aside from a handful of cities around the world that’s not taking into consideration how much electricity is wasted creating and compresing hydrogen

In reply to Jordo. For sure, the SDR is more bike. It is also a much more serious bike. I completely agree with Rennie about the MT-10 just being so playful, easy and accessible to have major fun on, when you don't really want to be all that serious. Which is exactly the same reason I loved and bought a 990 SMT back in the day, just laugh a minute accessible fun. The latter day SDR has got sharper and sharper, which to me has changed its character a lot. And well, I am getting old and don't need that last bit of potential speed as would so rarely use it.

I toyed with the idea of this vs the 1290 Super Duke R. The SDR costs only marginally more but boy do you get a lot more bike. There hasn’t been mention of the MT poor fuel economy which is fantastic on the SDR’s 180hp beast of an engine. The SDR is a winner with big brakes, very nice 48mm forks and smooth throttle. I think you know which one I bought.

Ha! for being idiots the Stewarts Panel should be made to run (barefoot) two long laps at the next race MM rides at….. then they need to sit down and take a good long hard look at themselves for the bewildering decisions they’ve made this year.
